RIP to a music legend.  Lou Reed died this morning in New York.

For the younger folks in the audience, who may not know who he was, he probably influenced a lot of your favorite singers.

such a bummer, I have a couple of VU collections and keep meaning to pick up Transformer.

Transformer is very good, and you can't beat a Bowie sax solo on Walk on the Wild Side.

VU and Nico is an astounding album.
Berlin, The Blue Mask, and Coney Island Baby are among Reed's best solo albums.

Awful news about Lou. A legend he was. I'm wondering who is next though, in the celebrity world, because their deaths seem to come in threes. Marcia Wallace, Lou Reed, and ???.
