So as some of you may or may not know, on the 28th of December I have my 30th birthday. Because that is the world's worst date to plan ANYTHING I'm thinking of doing something in November ( Read more... )

I think I can avoid that. Hell, if I need an alcohol-induced coma to achieve that, so be it!

Given that I'm going to be 38 in a few days, I can honestly say the thirties aren't nearly as bad as people as make them out to be. As for me, I stood and stared out a window on my 30th and marveled over the idea I'd been alive long to have to seen so much happen. I'm still fairly amazed.

my friend jeremy had a 'lolita' themed birthday party, mostly because he figured that by turning 30, he was turning into a 'creepy old man'. the guys were supposed to dress up like old men (canes, beards, etc), and the girls were supposed to wear school-girl type outfits.

I'm not so sure that'll work for you though. I don't see you as a creepy-old-man sort of guy. ;)

Hahaha, that's hilarious. Some people may disagree with you on that one, but I'm happy to keep your mental picture of me squeaky clean. ;)
