Does anybody know if there's an IM client that connects to the MSN network that isn't MSN Messenger? I hate MSN Messenger with the fiery passion of 1000 suns. That is all.

Gaim, which is what I use. It'll also do ICQ, yahoo, AIM etc. so you can talk to me at home you bastard.

trillian!

I can't remember which site I downloaded mine off of, so you might want to check around. it pretty much does all the different IM services, so you can use it to talk to people on AIM and MSN and and and and. yeah.

oh. I use GAIM at work because it supports jabber. but I never thought to get it at home. huh. jabber kind of annoys me though. so it stays at work.

Cheers, but Barbara already proved I was an idiot and already had a client that supports AIM!

webmessenger.msn.com

Perhaps not the answer you wanted.. Trillian would be my recommendation too. :)

AS well as Gaim and Trillian there is also Miranda. Small and does not need an installer or java or anything and it runs MSN, ICQ and a few others I don't bother with.

Yeah, i found miranda by myself. It was very confusing at first, though! "How do I enter my MSN details? Why does it ask me to log into everything EXCEPT MSN?"
