This is utterly fabulous. Not too schmoopy at all, since both of them are IC and not over the top.

This line totally cracked me up:
"For the studio! Emmett," he growled, whirling towards him, "just the studio, I said. *Just* the studio. I don't even believe in this shit."

And I could so picture Em trying to figure out the direction, it made me smile. I love Emmett. In general, and in this fic.
