*watching beginning part where they're on the stairs* Watching this makes me want big boots!! *drools* Hahaha, but I was also surprised at how cute most of them were! It's kinda sad but a lot of what I see of american lolita isn't that polished yet.
Yeah, I know what you mean. I only have two things from "official" lolita websites. Most of the clothes I have are from Kohls, Charlotte Russe, and (very rarely) Hot Topic.
Like the little lolita hats. Those are really hard to find and also confusing to make. I ended up making a little crown out of leather, drilling holes in it for wire, and wrapping the wire around a headband. If you want a mini hat and know how to sew, in the 3rd english Gothic & Lolita Bible there's a pattern for a small hat in there along with a blouse and some other thing I cant remember (lol, you could also get someone else to sew the stuff for you, that's what I do.)
I'm actually teaching myself to sew so I can make my own clothes. I'm currently working with Kuroneko about making jewelry for her line while I look for perminate work. I'm currently unemployed so anything I can get right now will make me happy lol.
