oh man, why did you ask now, and not back when I was still devouring that stuff. I can't remember any now. (apart from that hilarious one narrated by Toph, but then she went and took it over for herself and it became a Toph/Aang with background Zutara, so I'm not sure it counts... anyway it's here if you're interested: "A Matter of Honor". The author isn't a native speaker and it shows at first but her english gets better. (well unless she edited it since then, but anyway it's still awesome.))

I'm not a big fan of any of the "classic" Zutara fics, but in my search I've found a few little gems that really worked for me:

A Heated Argument by ali_wildgoose. A bit of silliness.

Always the Light by treaclechip. Zutara from Appa's POV.

moving through the silence without motion by magneticwave.

there is no motive for this crime by magneticwave. Katara and Mai collide.

and

All Roads Lead to Ba Sing Se by irisbleufic. The future can be surprising.
