Funerals/mourning can be pretty intense in a different culture with unfamiliar traditions and a strange language, especially if the family's grief isn't tempered by the hope we know in Jesus our Lord. Try not to let it rattle you too badly. I'm sure you're praying for your friends and offering whatever small comfort you are able, even if it's only a sympathetic ear.

I haven't written all this time but have been talking with your mom and reading some of your postings.
You are brave, girl! I can't imagine taking on a different culture so far away and still having to do school stuff.
We are looking forward to seeing you and hearing all about your experiences and seeing the pictures. I bet you can write a book about it all that would be a best seller.
Hang in there, it's almost over and like I told you mom today (I've had a rough few weeks) that this too shall pass. God is our strength. We just have to try and leave things with Him and rest. After all, he's up all night.
