Right now she should be somewhere between Los Angeles and Melbourne. I'm hopeful that maybe she'll be here for Christmas. If not I'll be doing some chasing for sure!
If it's any consolation at all, the number one inquiry and complaint is delivery of orders/gifts. Having worked a seasonal job at the USPS mail handling facility last year I can appreciate why...the system handles about 5x more mail in Nov/Dec then they do the rest of the year.
Sorry, started rationalizing there. Part of the current job, don't you know? Have fun with Tonto this afternoon. Go out on a nice short trip to a park or something and forget about it, okay? ^_^
I try to be patient when dealing with intnational shipping, I hate those people who twitch after an unreasonably short period of time. At least I twitch over weirdly long waits :-)
I was good over the weekend, checked occasionally but got on with things.
Her tracking changed this afternoon. It took her from 10 Dec to 16 Dec to transit from Los Angeles to Melbourne. She walked, obviously...
Funny bit about it is that her shipping status has changed on Australia Post's site, normally the slowest to do so. Whereas USPS don't even show that yet.
Glad to hear she's finally left California! ^o^ Things will hopefully go faster now that she's arrived in Australia!
The job is, well, a job. Some good days, some bad. I tell myself that it's the worst this time of year and should slow down and be more civilized around the middle of January.

It's still better than dealing with Christmas crowds though!

Are you getting a white- or lilac-skinned one? I've seen her in-person in both colors of resin, and she's lovely in both.
