Another new toy...

I actually bought this a couple of weeks ago but have only now managed to upload the photos to my Flickr!
I'd been waiting for it to come down in price a bit - I'm damned if I'll pay AU$70.00! So when there was 20% off toys and it was already reduced to AU$50.00... what choice did I have :-)

I already have the Battle Damaged Light and Sound ( Read more... )

Very cool sweetheart! Now we just have to find a good place for it to live. :)

Can't we just put it with the others...? Nah, I know that we need to move all of them. They're just such cool things to have hanging around in the living room :-)

I just saw that yesterday at the Overpriced-Toys-R-Us store and you are SOOOOO right...it is VERY expensive but soooo great. That and the large original science tricorder!! Unfortunately they cost, together, what about half of our expendable money is each month. (That's what we use for such outrageous things as eating out every week or two)

Anyway, not to be a wet blanket - it looks beautiful and I bet it's even better in person! I got the STTNG one years ago and the danged thing doesn't have any kind of a stand so there's no way to display it!! Glad they put a stand with this one!! ^__^

Now all you need is Simon Pegg!! ^o^

I'm very keen to get hold of the normal tricorder, not the science one, actually. It was on my birthday list but wasn't released in time. Impossible to justify unless heavily reduced, I reckon. I'm feeling very into my Trek at the moment, I went through a huge patch where I just wasn't that into it anymore but now I'm BAAACK!!!

I took it out of the box and bounced. I swear I did. Which ST:TNG one did you get? All the ones I've ever had have all come with stands, but I think I know which one you mean. Maybe hang it from the ceiling :-)

Simon Pegg was very good, I thought.
It's funny, I still have some issues with the most recent movie (purely because I'm finicky) but I really enjoyed it!
I think I was just annoyed because all the things that offended me were all covered by the alternate universe thing so I was particularly annoyed that I really wasn't allowed to be annoyed? Capiche?

I really am insane :-)

Space, the final frontier...do they even still say that? I'm probably showing my age so I'll just say congrats! It looks fantastic and...squee! working lights!
