I'm going to have to re-watch today, I think, since I was watching while cooking and missed bits last night. But omg, so much fun! There were some really clever lines, I kept giggling at John especially (although I missed "and a happy new year" as well *giggles* that's hilarious!)

We need Lestrade + John bonding over discussions of Sherlock now, I think. I keep thinking about them "comforting" each other about Sherlock's complete disinterest in relationships...to his later great confusion, when he next sees them and immediately realizes what they've been up to *bg* Possibly with them then teaching him a thing or two about this unfamiliar subject *bg* (I can just see him deciding it's an excellent solution to boredom, and driving them both mad with random demands, once an "I'm bored" text takes on a whole new meaning *eg*)
