*sporfles* yes there was certainly a definite inflection to it in my head everytime I read it! fortunately she was mainly referred to as Honey (or just "the girl", heh)

I love the Bond books! I was expecting them to be very mindless, not the lovely repressed!dry!dark things they are (which, I agree, Charlie Higson channelled very well). And not a little slashy either (I am a huge Bond/Leiter fan)

Maybe Honeychile is a relative? *g* or maybe this is a SIGN that there should be Bond/Alex Rider crossover in which Alex is caught between James and Yassen (literally or otherwise)

oh God can you imagine the level of awful puns involved if Bond met Rider? They'd inevitably have some sort of pun-off, and Yassen would be all WTF? *cracks up*
