I'm forever getting poked by my friends & boyfriend to try various drinks that they think I will like. It's not that I don't drink, really, I just don't like drink - which I guess comes to the same thing ;-)
The only non-alcoholic cocktail I've tried is one I really loved - I think it might have been called Jamaica Juice, but I've no idea. Half orange juice, half pineapple, and a dash of grenadine. Tasty *g*

So does the book come out on the 16th? Or the 17th?

16th, but it's appeared already in some places :-) Jamaica Juice sounds great!

Oh, Cocktails, there's something that goes well with a good book.

My favourites are a Harvey Wallbanger - part Vodka, part Galliano, top up with (preferably fresh) Orange juice.

And the Brazilian favourite, the Caipirinha.
* 5.0 cl (1⅔ fl oz) cachaça
* ½ Fresh Lime cut into 4 wedges
* 4 teaspoons Muscovado sugar

Though there is a local variant in a town called Foz of a Batida/Caipirinha that is:
lime, sugar,ice, cachaca and white rum/vodka.
An all together lethal concoction for any unsuspecting tourist.

nomnomnom - I sometimes have that without the grenadine :-) Does that qualify as a White Russian? *makes note to check*

Black Russian = 5 parts Vodka, 2 parts Kahlua
Tall black Russian = As above except topped off with Coke Cola.

A White Russian is the same as the Tall black Russian except you use Milk, Cream or Bailey's to top it off.
