Whether global warming is caused by cars, cows, computer chips, or just natural causes, something funky is going on with Texas weather. Last year we got a record 6 inches of snow (no scarfing you northerners)and today we have a frost. I like it! I'm the one who whines for the whole summer because of the heat....so frost is AWESOME! And....I hope ( Read more... )

It's WAY too early for the "S" word. Although it "S"ed here on Thanksgiving.

You're more than welcome to the cold and white stuff! I'm hoping for a mild winter!

I am however glad that you're enjoying it. After quite a few warm years here I was yearning for a little bit of it as well. If one has to endure winter, it looks much prettier coated with white.

I only enjoy it because it last for such a short time! If I had to deal with it for months it would get old real quick!

The weather has been behaving very oddly this last couple of years, yours included! I'm pleased you're getting something a little different and experiencing snow and now frost! It seems very strange to hear you talk of Dallas being frosty! :-) We are white over with frost again this morning. Stay warm, Suzan!

The older I get the less I like the extreme heat we have here in the summer....so the winters seem wonderful!....however if I had to deal with snow constantly I might dislike it as much as the heat. Oh, where, oh where, is Utopia!

Stay warm!

Actually I just heard on the all-knowing Weather Channel that we (North America) are back in an El Nina system, which means a warmer-than-normal winter. Last winter was an El Nino one, in which I though we would freeze to death before it ended. But who knows? Weather has gotten wacky in recent years, so anything might happen. Glad you're enjoying the frost.

I know exactly what you mean, Suz. In this climate I long for snow and cold...but will never have it.
