Climbing mountains (literally)

Canberra has been good to me. I love my job, my team, my housemates and my house, and on Australia Day I climbed a mountain.

In fact, I climbed Mount Kosciuszko, the highest mountain in Australia. :D

My climbing companion and I decided that taking the chairlift most of the way was cheating, so a 20km hike it was. And what a beautiful hike!

sounds fun :) we climbed halfway up one of the glasshouse mountains on an excursion in high school but it was nowhere near as far as that :)

It has been a long time. 14 years!

At last, I found you again. And just as I might have expected, still smart and apparently stil having interest in a lot of stuff.

I'm not a facebook or social network fan/user, and as I haven't seen your regular email, I just leave this comment here.

I'm going in vacancy in 3 days for a 2 weeks trip, but I don't want to let you know where. It would be too easy to identify me (I guess)

Le syntaxe me dit francophone, aussi bien que la référence à 14 ans. Mais sans être utilisateur de réseaux sociaux, il faut que j'admets n'avoir aucune idée: à moins que les vacances ne sont pas en Île Maurice? (Celui qui part au Cambodge est bel et bien fan de Facebook...)

un petit indice? Tu m'as un jour dit que tu étais d'accord, qu' "un peu de mystère est bon pour l'âme".

Et maintenant que tu as voyagé par le monde, et que connais la neige, dirais tu toujours qu'elle ne te manque pas, parfois? ("You never miss what you've never had".)

Tu te souviens toujours de tout cela? Ou bien tu as récemment trouvé un souvenir de passé récemment qui te fait voyager dans le temps? Pour moi ça remonte à si loin dans le passé que c'est presque comme une vie antérieure.

Et alors, Manu, j'habite maintenant pas si loin de la neige, et elle ne me manque point! Le ski m'amuse, si, mais le soleil et la mer me relèvent l'esprit encore plus.

Mais bon - un peu de mystère est bien, mais des nouvelles sont toujours les bienvenues. Alors, quels sont vos aventures dans les quatorze ans passés? Que fais-tu de beau ces jours-ci?
