In my last post, I promised to write about some great things in French and Spanish. I'm sure there are things that speakers of these languages find fantastic about English, but being a native speaker I don't notice them as much. In any case, here are some of my favourite things that appear in French and Spanish:

I remember when I first learnt about si my first thought was 'but its spelt like if,damn I better get the answer right'

Though it also didn't hlp when my brain switched languages halfway through a conversation and I said 'Si' meaning yes in Italian as opposed to 'Oui' and had to apologise.
