help!

I'm trying to do my California entry and I have so many pics I've made them into slide shows on Photobucket but the code doesn't work. anyone have any clues what I might be doing wrong? I'm using the html code but nothing shows up. : (

I assume because it´s using Shockwave Flash, LJ is stripping the code, because the average user is not allowed to do this just as s/he wants. I tried it and the whole content after the div style was stripped, not visible in the page source code and dissappeard as I looked at the postform again.

You need to wrap the whole embed code giving to you by photobucket with "" at the beginning and at the end with "". Then it´s working. That is by now the only code added to your embed code if using the embed media button on the HTML-postform.

It should then look like this:

I wanted to show you the result as two slideshows instead of the plain code above... but for some weird reason this is not showing in comments, neither the original code nor with lj-embed nor the stripped version. Indeed it´s showing nothing not even code.

So take a look at what I mean here. In entries it´s working fine!

In LJ´s FAQ is the answer, no media in comments ;P

Though I have hard times to understand why you still can post youtube vids in comments. Maybe these are trusted or don´t know really.
