What a lovely idea. I'm not able to sign in with my open id, but my dreamwidth pen-name is Makioka (same as my AO3 username.)

My favourite Sutcliff fandoms are The Eagle of the Ninth and The Lantern Bearers, but I like them all (with the only one that I'm not so passionately fond of being The Mark of the Horselord probably because it's the one I've read least recently.) I especially like Aquila from the Lantern Bearers and how strange and remote he is compared to so many of Sutcliff's characters. I'm very fond of Marcus as well. Aunt Honoria is also a favourite.

In terms of fic ideas, anything at all about my favourite characters above would be amazing, and I'm a big fan of Marcus/Cottia/Esca. Or Ambrosius and his inner conflict with his innate Roman-ness. Perhaps something about the end of Aquila would be especially welcomed.

I'd like to chat to other Sutcliff fans, so that would be just as nice a gift instead if there's anyone active over on DW.

I am ursula at dw and ursulakohl on ao3. I like history! My favorite Sutcliff might be Mark of the Horselord, but little scraps of research will always make me happy.

Hmmm, lj ate a comment which more or less boiled down to "I like everything!" I have read quite a lot of Sutcliff (though some not since I was twelve). Fannishly I'm rather peripheral these days . . . I've got a bit of a fondness for slashy Renault-style "like Alexander and Hephaistion!" situations, but I like gen and het and OT3s too. Anything goes as long as you're not editing out a canonical happy marriage!
