Undecided highschool senior choosing between Drexel and Susquehanna. Got a slightly better scholarship from Drexel and into the honors programs at both schools. I'm thinking about double majoring in english and bio. Pros and cons of Susquehanna? It's getting time to decide and I have no idea...hoping that the open house will make up my mind.

pros:
-no trimesters (believe me you'll hate them at Drexel)
-beautiful campus
-very cooperative faculty (most live in area; very personal relationship with the student)
-small student body where everyone dorms on-campus yields a very comfortable environment. easy to make friends, find your niche, etc.

cons:
-well this year, they cut down on partying big time (i don't know if you're into that kinda thing; i'm really not). but it wasn't a problem before and i believe it's just going to happen this year because of all the circumstances.
-food sucks
-the social life isn't as great as say Philadelphia; but you get used to it after awhile.
-not very diverse campus

If you're looking for something small and undiverse, come here. Everyone knows each other, and that takes some getting used to.

On the flip side, once you're used to it, it can be kind of nice. Until you get sick of everybody and start plotting their early and unfortunate demises.

hahahaha didn't you come for the accepted student open house this weekend?

The campus, compared to most other places in the area, is pretty small - I think were sitting around 2000 people at the moment. It's awesome if you like a little more personal atmosphere, and since classes won't be as large, you'll have a better opportunity to get to know the professors
