Back to Craig's list to find another band to play with to the point of being good and fun so it can fall apart again!

Bittersweet. On one hand, you get a new set of red flags to watch for in any bands and RUN before it even starts. But there's other bands out there. If nothing else, consider the idea of this:

I'm Ted. I write music, dammit. I need someone to accompany me and really flesh out the songs. Just one, maybe two people. Let's make sure we all fit. (weeks/months pass) ... these are sounding pretty good, and the band isn't fornicating with each other - let's audition some musicians to fill in the gaps!

And then it's your band. People may come and go from it, but you are the ringleader. I know, you've probably done that before, and maybe a reason why you don't do it anymore. But it's one way to find the perfect mix of people to play some music with.
