First, there was one fly. Buzzing itself directly at my face and past my ears and setting me to shivers with the breeze generated by its tiny, filthy wings. one time i trapped a spider in a bottle and then poured some clear glue all over it and left the bottle sitting on a shelf to warn off all other spiders. it didn't work at all. fools, you'd think with that eyeball filled head they'd be able to see what they was in for too.

Eyesight doesn't do any good if you just have a little spider brain. All the same, I'd rather spiders than flies. They don't divebomb, generally.

i have to collect some cave crickets this weekend. they go into little alcohol filled jars. comment that went with the jars? "they'll struggle a bit, just push them in."
