This one was hard! I hate Duran Duran's music, but they are SO pretty! If they weren't so darned pretty it would have been easy.
So then I had to choose whether to marry or kill Talking Heads or The Police. Well, Sting doesn't seem like he'd be easy to live with *at all,* so I guess The Police have to die, even though I like their music.
I like the music of Talking Heads, too, and they *seem* more interesting and reasonable. I think I could live with them, if I had to choose between these three.
I thought Sting was ungodlyly hot back in the day, and I had a thing for blonde hair, but I wouldn't want to marry them, having learned since that he's kind of a jerk, so it was an easy call to, well, "F*** the Police!"
I love the Talking Heads' music and David Byrne's public persona is just a wonderful combination of the sweet and the weird, plus he seems very intelligent, so marrying them was an easy choice.
Leaving Duran Duran to die...I liked some of their '80's hits, but they were never on the *top* of my list either for looks or music. I think also they're a little *too* pretty (as opposed to a more masculine shade of hot) for my aesthetic ideals.
I had to marry the Police because then I could fuck them as well as imbibing their awesome. I fucked Duran because I don't think I'd get on with them but they are hella pretty...

Oh, I very much value hawt, but it doesn't always correspond with pretty, for me...Although, much as I love David Byrne, truth be told, I don't find him particularly hot, but, he's not UN-attractive, and, of the choices I gave, he's the one I could most imagine spending LOTS of time with, without getting completely pissed off or sick of him.

re: The Smiths: yeah, I thought of including them in this, but I didn't, mostly because there are so many Smiths fans on my flist I thought it would make the poll too biased...Cause, yeah, I'm doing delicate scientific research here!

That depends on whether you do interesting things *to* them, or whether you just lie there and let them do all the work...

OMG in unrelated news I watched all those Spader interviews again and he is still hysterical...love him...
Oh and my friend suggested a harder one for me... Japan, The Police and the Smiths....impossible.
