I'm using this year to totally fine-tune last year's novel as I think this has more potential to be something published than anything else I've ever written.
Pretty much! If a word count goal or a second novel comes along (and they probably will, let's face it), then I'll take them. I'm just not actively seeking them out this year.
After last year I could use that break.
And that sounds fun! Funny, I know lots of folks in my circles who are rewriting/editing/rebelling this year. Must be in the water... or something that just happens after NaNoing long enough. Sounds like a study in the making.
*chuckles* Yeah, this weekend's either going to be low key or crazy, and Monday/Tuesday I'm going to be running around doing things. Hopefully the rest of the week though might be sane. :P
