By "the last book" do you mean "The Fire at Mary-Anne's House" or "Graduation Day"?

Also, where did you find them?

I haven't read those in years. I think I need to go back through and find all the ones I never read. Damn, I should have put that on my 101 in 1001. ;)

I have quite a few of the Baby Sitters Club mysteries in my to be read pile. I don't know if I'll ever get to them. (I have enough in my to be read pile to last about three years.)

Now that was a series that got stale quickly. After the author's decision to keep them all in the same grade and the same age year after year, she left little room for character development. And then by the time the last few books came out and she showed she was willing to let time start up again and give the characters some kind of closure, no one cared anymore.

I was a big Trixie Belden fan when I was a kid, and one of the things that I enjoyed was that they did get older and their lives changed.
