Aw thanks so much, glad you like her, I was having trouble adjusting the contrast after photographing it to match the original, after working on that for too long, I seem to have lost all objectivity on what contrast looks right for the image file.

Oh my gawd...I totally sympathise there! lol I have a terrible time trying to get the contrast right on my paintings too. I think it looks ok, but then I see it later on & think 'agh that's totally wrong'!!
Makes your eyes boggle...LOL

Wow! I really love his pic, the colours are amazing! I have been working on a few mermaid pictures but they don't compare to this! great job.
