Our band uniforms from HS are available for purchase at a surplus store for $20 each (search for "Spring Woods" on that page). I'm strangely tempted, but I doubt the one made to my measurements when I was 15 would fit anymore...

I didn't recognize that many of the others (besides the obviously labeled ones, like Klein Forest, which: forest green and burnt orange? really? I guess I thought that was gold).

Lots of purple ones if you need one for a wall hanging or something, though ;)

Hee. I guess that one's from Corpus Christi -- the one in Kingsville is black and gold and their mascot is the cow (or something; the picture is totally a cow).

Too bad none of the hats are crown shaped...

hah! I always wondered what happened to old band uniforms.
Thought if they had my school's, I'd just be tempted to burn it ;)

I actually kind of liked this one -- it was tremendously flattering, as band uniforms go, and it was light enough that we didn't fry. The one before that I would burn -- it was like 20 layers of wool, and the pants were so thick they seemed bullet-proof.

That's what we had. August, September, and sometimes October? Sucked to be wearing those.

Exactly. I think we went into November, but we only averaged one game where we needed blankets every four years or so. I also wore the uniform (under a tabard, possibly with a cowboy hat -- I've blocked the awful fashion from my memory) for Foley's band in February (Rodeo and Mardi Gras), but it still wasn't cold enough to justify wool. At least when the Rockets won and we marched in June we wore t-shirts and jeans.
