I had such a pain with Susan's expression---I just couldn't make her look sad enough! Which---sounds rather sadistic but, gah! It took me forever to finally get it like that, and even then it's not quite sad enough for me.

The comics about 60% done. Backgrounds are horrible, horrible things. =P Which is probably why I won't be drawing any backgrounds except for maybe in 4-5 panels.

How cool! I like that I inspired you. :D That pic is so sweet on Caspian's side cause he looks so happy, and so sad on Susan's because her expression says that she knows it won't last. *sighs* Nice job!

I actually didn't even think about the difference in their outlook when I drew their expressions, but am quite glad that it turned out so well. I needed Susan's to be sad because--- well, as you say, it's not going to last which always makes my heart ache and it seems to be the theme of many fics.

It's what I pictured similarly in Dreams when Caspian turns towards her. And their conversation is so insanely sad. =( And Caspian's completely oblivious to what is going to happen.

I love the pose and their expressions, reflecting the bittersweet relationship these two share... and the hair is also gorgeous, particularly Susan's. Your drawing's precious ^_^ . There's a serious lack of SxC fanart out there, especially in dA =_= .

Ah the hair---lovely thing, hair is. Also a pain in the butt to draw. Susan's was original a lot lighter but I had to go through it again. Caspian's was an adventure as I cannot draw shoulder-length hair and do him any justice so I cropped it short at the neck.

I agree. There IS a lack of Susan/Caspian fanart.
