She sits on a window seat, feet drawn up and diary leaning on her knees. The end of her pen is much abused as more often than not, her gaze is drawn outside and the diary forgotten.

What she's thinking about is anyone's guess.

Would she be very much opposed to a Caspian? He's nearby, after all, coming in from outdoors and dressed warmly. He spots Susan and a smile lights his face. "Queen Susan." He greets her with warmth.

She looks up, and smiles widely. "Caspian! How are you?"

"Chilly." He tells her with a grin, stamping his feet some. "It's freezing out there."

"And you, Queen? How are you?"

She grins back "Quite warm, actually, and planning to stay that way. What were you doing outside in this weather anyway?"

Distracted from the skyline by the sudden movement, she grins as she sees Jared, and wonders whether it's worth going outside in the cold to say hello.

Jared manages to catch up to the ball, then pauses, his peripheral vision catching up with him, and looks back over his shoulder at the window he hadn't even noticed passing, and his face is suffused with a grin. "Good morning Susan," he says with a bow.

"Good Morning Jared" she replies primly, although her eyes are laughing.
"How are you?"
