There's got to be a way to get that owl back. I am such an idiot!!!

[/Private]Looks like Gryffindor and Slytherin have a bit of drama going on this week. Oh well, I'll just sit in my corner and watch. It's much safer over here ( Read more... )

Of course I am! Oh wow, arrogance does not suit me at all!

[Private to Kris]

Do you really have to ask? I sent him a one word owl just now. It said "Hi" and that's it. If you see me near the owlery again, take whatever is in my hand and incinerate it!

Aw, you're so cute! I know that he'll be happy you owled him. You have to tell me what he says when he writes back to you! [/Private to Susan]

Hi Susan!

I know what this Ravenclaw is going to do, which is to say thank you. Nev said you thought of the idea of doing something for me which made him think of the garden.

Hi Gabrielle! I've heard so much about you. We must speak in person one of these days!

And you are welcome! I hope you enjoy the garden. You have great man!

And I've heard good things about you. Yes, I would love to speak in person with you!

I will enjoy the garden. I have no doubt I have a great man. I can't believe how lucky I am!

Well then.

What if it was Hufflepuff who those two boys went after with their fireworks? What would you have done?

Good question. I would ask them why they did it and try to understand how desperate a situation must have been for them to do something so reckless.

Don't you think the mediation helped?

On the surface, yes.
In reality? I'm not sure much will change.

I was overjoyed when I got your owl today. It's so silly that we're owling eachother, though...not that I'm calling you silly...it's just that we're in the same house and all. Anyways I'll catch you in the Common Room sometime soon I hope!

Drama is a bit of an understatement, don't you think Susan?

I'm just glad it's over.

Perhaps Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw should become the new Gryffindor and Slytherin? Then we'd get some emphasis.

I think that's a fantastic idea! But how? Neither of our houses is good at trading insults or violence.

We should be known for something better then that! Something more worthy.

Great discoveries, perhaps?
