A discount travel question for my flist...

Do any of you have a favorite discount travel site to get good hotel deals? Some friends and I are going to Universal Orlando November 4-10 and right now I have reservations to stay for $683.00 at Doubletree right across the street from the park. I'd love to stay onsite at Cabana Bay, but the best deal I can find there is about $805.00 after tax.

I always look at priceline and name your own price option - but that doesn't give you specific hotels -- kinda just gives you the idea but if you want something specific to stay at then that's def. not the way to go.

I also look at Expedia.com.

But when you want something that's onsite, you don't really have much of an option, sadly.

I've nothing. :( I mean, I always use booking.com and lately have been trying trivago.com but that's mostly deals on hotels, no discounts on specific hotels. Though you might try those sites (I'm pretty sure they do make specific hotel searches) and maybe they offer a lower price?
