I'm expanding/rewriting one of my OU stories, and the bloody characters have developed minds of their own. Or rather Stefan has. First he wanted his name changed, and now I'm giving them a sex scene and Luke wants to get down to business, but Stefan's having none of it. He's gone off in search of condoms. And it's not even his point of view.

Malcolm is doing a similar thing to me at the moment - I want him to talk to Trip, but he has decided that he'd rather go to the gym in a huff. Grrr.

I don't really mind too much - I do my best writing when I can hear the characters' voices clearly, and until now Stefan had been rather flat on the page. I'm kind of glad he's come to life, even if he is a stubborn git. Luke needs a firm hand - in more ways than one!
