I'm halfway done my genetics course, and so far, I'm surviving. It's a four week course, with one semester's worth of material crammed in, that started two weeks ago, so our midterm was on Friday, and our final exam is in two weeks. I could just pound my head on my desk. I told you of the former dal chem student who was now at york, but doing a cram session for us and saying "why have they crammed second year stuff into first year?"
gene mapping...ech. My classes crammed in so much that you barely had a chance to absorb it, let alone apply it. I never did look at my mark for that class...:D

The only genetics I have done, as far as Mendelian genetics, is the odd Punnett square in high school and first year biology, which I took ten years ago. Genetic mapping is all new to me, as well as probabilities of offspring having a certain disease. I'm not sure what we cover in molecular genetics, but I think it is some stuff I may have done in some of my previous courses.
