As I was walking from Klink to the SUB today, I passed by that awful 99 Chairs restaurant. The whole complex was closed, and there was a construction fence around the area with a sign that said, "White Spot coming to campus fall of '09". I'm not sure if it will be replacing 99 Chairs or will be an addition, but whatever the case is, YAY! While

At least White Spot would be better than most of the other UBC food options. Not great, but still better.
The problems is that the good stuff is expensive too. Have you tried mahoney and sons? The burger I had there was descent, but it's fairly pricey, as expected.

I have been to Mahoney's, but it is expensive, and I'm not fond of pubs. Sometimes you just want to eat your food in peace!

It'll probably just be a "White Spot Express", with just burgers, but still better than the rest of the crap on campus! Hopefully they will have cheesecake!

Yeah, I figure that it will be an express place, but a lot better than most of the crap on campus! It'll be an improvement over 99 Chairs for sure!

My parents love the White Spot burgers, they are pretty decently priced.

I hope that you can find consistently edible food, as your past experiences haven't been that great!
