I have officially banned Pie R Squared.
Places I have banned
1. Blue Chip Cookie
2. Koerner's Pub (or whatever the fuck it's called)
3. Woodward cafe (the food is just gross)
4. The pasta place in the food court (I've never eaten there, but the woman was incredibly rude to my sister, so it warrants a BAN)
5. Pie R Squared
banned!,
rant (2),
school (2),
things i hate

I need to know if they make my LIST too. Slowly but surely the entire SUB is pissing me off.

I sincerely hate UBC. But I do love the women at Caffe Perugia in LSC. They are awesome!

Having MEAT on almost every goddamn pizza is not "green" (I thought the big push for going green is to have vegetarian or vegan options?).

Cucumbers?
Grapes?
Dog hair?

Re: being green, ya paper plates are really green.
I honestly think they just buy whatever random ingredients are the cheapest (ie the left over crap nearing its best before date that the supplier needs to get rid of) that day and toss them on a pizza.

What can you expect from people who put whole chunks of broccoli on pizza? I'm surprised they haven't tried carrot.

And then toss on some goat cheese and/or pork.

It always bugged me how the single veggie option would have feta on it most of the time.

The Delly in the SUB basement has some (IMHO) decent "curry" options, none of which are pork as far as I recall, and for which the line is usually quite short. They also have custom sandwhiches for which the line is usually very long that I've never tried, but which are quite popular (hence the long line). Don't get a samosa, though.
Also, if you're in Woodward or the SUB, then the UBC village isn't very far away, and has many more options of varied quality. The curry place in the village basement is decent, if you don't mind salt, and has some vegetarian options. The chick pea and lentil curries are usually good.

Thanks for suggesting The Delly; I didn't realize they had curries, as I tend not to venture down there. I don't like samosas anyway!
I do venture out to the village sometimes, usually just to go to Starbucks or the Red Burrito. But it's a pain when you have a lot of studying to do and don't want to leave the building you're in! But good to know about the curries there. Perhaps I will try them next semester.
