Wonder what that idiot would have said to a lady at my church, who got lung cancer despite her NOT BEING A SMOKER!

People like that really get on my nerves. Don't assume things, or ask to know personal information! Ugh.

"You cough, thus you must be a smoker." I don't understand that logic. Just as I don't understand, "Wearing a toque will help your cough."

I don't understand it, either. People cough for a variety of reasons, some of which you outlined in your post. It's not an instant "MEDICINE / SMOKER!" alert. As for wearing a toque, that may not help either! It might make you warmer, but I'm not sure it'll help a COUGH. Sheesh.

Yeah, all a toque will do is make you warmer, and I don't even want to be warmer! I get too hot wearing fucking toques!

I actually thought of you when I wrote this entry, and your reaction is just as I predicted!

And man, it's incredible that some people are still stupid enough to believe the old wives' tale of colds and coughs being caused by not wearing a hat or coat!

I know! WTF? What a fucking moron! I am by no means an expert in immunology (which is what I want to major in), but I bet you he knows nothing about the immune system, because if he did, he would not have made that retarded "suggestion"!
