Step 1
So this morning I specifically caught the 8:52am bus so that I could ask the friendly female bus driver about my transit dilemma. Even though I have no problem talking to her, I was so nervous because of the subject matter, but I didn't chicken out, and asked her if she thought it would be highly inappropriate to hit on a bus driver while he is on the job. She said that it wasn't a big deal, and that male bus drivers get hit on all the time by female passengers, so that sounds encouraging. Of course she doesn't know how this particular bus driver would react and can't speak for him, but she said that there is a higher chance of him being flattered and not creeped out or disgusted.
She asked me who he was and what he looked like, but she said that she didn't know who he was, but that she'll try and see if she can find out any info. It's doubtful that she will have the opportunity to speak to him before Thursday, the day I will see him, but if she does, she'll let him know that I am interested in him.
