Art: To Dream, Perchance to Live (J2)

Jun 09, 2010 22:31

Note: I played pinch hitter due to communication issues for this, and started doing art at ~ 3:30 pst yesterday volunteering with permission from Wendy as I had already read Peppervl's monster (alpha reader from the beginning) and was helping html code it. Angstpuppy did get in contact with Peppervl just before midnight my time and has some very ( Read more... )

first off, I think it is great that you jumped in to help. you're a great friend to her (I know how it feels to be trembling and waiting because my artist FORGOT to finish the draft the day before due date, then overslept that day and I was just sitting there with my mouth agape thinking 'WTF am I going to DO?'. She puled through eventually, but it was kind of a close call).

Secondly... how am I going to describe this other tan "dreamy"? *lol* I mean the muted pastel colors and the white clouds/mist are like you are looking in on a dream and I really like that in regard of the title ;) clever, clever.

I LOVE the fic summary... I so want to read this... but 160k? OMG! I don't know WHEN I should do this XD I hardly read anything over 50 anymore *sighs* When's it gonna be posted? I might need to save it to my mems to return to it when I retire got time again.

*hugs* B

Hey there, so it's been over a month, but I'm getting to past comments! :D

Oh no! :( That sucks about the close call you have!

I tried to go for dreamy in the time that I had. *hugs* It's a good story (dunno if you read it yet) so I think you'll enjoy it when you get to it! :) *hugs*

So happy you could do this last minute, because there need to be art to these stories! That was really fast turnaround! You have done great work, especially considering how little time you've had!
The story seems interresting too! I read the BigBangs slow this year - is on my first one - and that will even take some time to finish. But I will definitely read this one - eventually!

Since I haven't read the story - I obviously don't know all too well how the art goes with the story, but from the summary it seems like you have nailed it!

Yeah! I had read the story as she was writing it so I had a bit of an idea going in. I basically spent an entire evening just doing art.

*hugs* :)

I did my best! I had read the story as she was writing it, so I had a bit of an idea of what I would have liked to show . . . and I used that and did my best with the time constraints :) *hus*

good job!!! wow.. everything is so good, but I love A LOT the first part header... that tree and the wood texture...

and what???? last time call???? my god... but I, like insane_songbird lived the same thing last year in a Spanish challenge, I pledged to a friend for arts so my artist didn´t send anything until the same day... very late...

pretty quick job!!! well done!
