I recently bought a Catherine Deneuve box, which means I finally own Belle de Jour and I just had to write something about it. I know that Belle de Jour is set in the sixties and the devil wears prada in 2006, but just pretend that they're in the same time.

WOW.

Seriously....how did I not know this fic existed?

The combination of Meryl and Deneuve pretty much kills my brain all on its own, but this was seriously delicious. It's perfect...doesn't even seem like a crossover at all!

I'm SO glad that you posted this in the MSFF community -- what a gem to discover!!

Well, it hasn't existed for that long. Just a day or so.

And the combination of Meryl and Catherine really kills me too. I've had this fic for a couple of days, but I wasn't sure if I should post it. Because it's impossible to do them both justice.

That was like... crazy hot. Thank you so much for writing this!

I love Belle Du Jour and I love the idea of Catherine Deneuve and Meryl Streep getting dirty with one another.

This just felt so right and so possible. I absolutely adore the tragedy of it and how at the same time it's so completely compelling and sexually charged to the max.

I glad you think it felt right and possible, because I doubted for so long if this wasn't too weird or something.

And I love Belle de Jour too. I've spent so long trying to find it and now I finally have it.

There should be more fics with Meryl and Catherine. They're just so right toghether. *looks at you with puppy eyes*

I did watch this movie (I just forgot the name). I like what you've done here with Miranda getting certain things off of her mind. It was a good description when you spoke of Miranda feeling guilty for marring such beautiful flesh and how she'd want to be tender and gentle if they did it again. Going to continue this one? It would be nice to have her track the Belle down and try to court her.

And I don't think I'll continue this. Miranda could be the kind of person to try and track Belle de Jour down, but Belle de Jour would never come with her. So that would make a pretty angsty fic and would be hard to stay in character I think.
