i'd get worried that baking would = me putting on weight because i love sweet things, or are you baking healthy stuff too?
The funny thing is, I bake but I don't really eat it. One, because I rarely do and secondly I know what goes into it, if that makes sense? But if someone else bakes it? Hell yeah! I guess at the end of the day, I like baking and sharing it with everyone. :)
Hmm, depends on what you like to eat or bake? Scones, haven't found any good recipes for them. Some of them are a hit and miss. I've heard that people use lemonade for it, which intrigues me. I use the one on taste.com.au website. The basic scones recipe. And then add sultanas. :D Banana scones are wonderful too.

The dorms I used to have, well I don't think we even had an oven, come to think about. Japanese kitchens don't normally have ovens. :D; But yes, I always go, when I move out, I would need to be near friendly neighbours, so during my baking, I can go, um hi. I made things and wanted to know your opinion? :D; Or help, I made too much. Please take it away.

I think it might be the bubbles. So it gives some oomph to rising, so no need for baking powder maybe? I've heard of coke being used in baking too. Intriguing. Although I wonder how it affect the taste and would you cut out the sugar?
