I had never heard of Nia. But I think I would laugh if anyone said, "Fluff our core" (they really say that? huh?)

And yeah, I too think organic is WAY over priced. Come on!

Heh. Maybe not literally that phrase, but some that are very similar. During today's class we "picked up our chi and gently laid it on the ground." Nia is pretty fluffy. :)

I admire you for not laughing. I never was good at like "visualizing while sitting cross legged and all that." The teacher is like, "In your mind go to a peaceful place" and I'm trying not to giggle.

I admire your effort. Not sure I could do it.

Oh yay. I had an experience in social work class today that meant I totally needed to read this and feel a little less alone. I mean, by mainline standards I'm pretty darn crunchy, but by the standards of my classmates...? It's kind of lonely being the one person who wasn't all on board with the "Women have the First Voice from their mother's knee!" crap. (Hi, I advocate for abused and neglected kids, do you REALLY think it's good for them to have the voices they learned at their mother's knees, or wooden spoons? I said this and had a couple classmates look at me like I had three heads.)

I do organic for some things because I can notice the taste difference - usually stuff like chocolate, actually. I eat less chocolate if it's the organic dark stuff. YMMV. :)

I do organic for some things, too. Especially chocolate. Dark chocolate. Mmmm....

Being crunchy is definitely work. I'm not sure I come close at all.

Interesting the manner you wrote your entry. I enjoyed your lack of crunchiness.
