I saw the story about the transgendered Athlete (well I first read the story about the cute lil boy Daphne, but there isn't really anything to say about that as I am not a parent) and at first I felt like the commenter who whines about gender boundaries, but only until I started reading. What are your thoughts? I believe that in athletics at least the transgendered person should only be allowed to compete in the category they were physically born into, because of the physiological differences between men and women.. I mean a transgendered woman who was born a man would have many unfair advantages in a wide variety of sports, and vice versa (though as a mysoginist I can't think of any sports women are naturally superior to men at) ;)
if you read the stuff about the transgendered athlete - he's only being allowed to compete as long as he doesn't start hormones. so he's still very much a bio and hormonal female.

Also, to st_fred: biofemales tend to be significantly better at endurance sports, like long distance running :)
