Yeah, that's what surprised me, too! I have some gay friends in Texas...but they perform at the Renfaire. I *expect* loving acceptance and respect for diversity at a Renfaire, but not so much at a City Council meeting. Now I'm betting there were a few homophobes in that room but I'm glad it didn't show up in the clip. Having just moved back to civilization Kansas City from Oklahoma, I know DAMNED WELL it's rampant down there.
