If you can make it through New Moon, you can make it through any of them.

I started Dead Witch Walking today. I like it so far, though it's very "oh hey guys let's make up a whole new vocabulary just to make our world seem unique and special in a William Gibson kind of way."

I really like the Kim Harrison books though - you'll notice the vocab less as you go along. It's really only in the beginning that she does it while she's establishing her world.

Don't suppose you want to donate your Twilight 3 and 4 to a good cause, do you? ;)

Yeah, I'm quite enjoying them so far, vocabulary lessons and all.

Unfortunately, I bought Eclipse and Breaking Dawn on the Kindle. :(

Have you read any of the Mercy Thompson books by Patricia Briggs? They start with Moon Called.

Totally unrelated but checked out your profile as a result of LJIdol...

This is made of win: I think all pro-lifers should be required to adopt three children apiece"

I really want a bumper sticker that says that so I can pass by the abortion protesters on my way home from work.

Your child is adorable in that icon!

Thank ya (on both accounts). He's really the best little dude and certainly not the poster child for abortion.

I return to redheadedness this weekend, I'm over the blond phase.

I've been doing reds since I was 17. I recently cut it all off because it was driving me crazy (long story short, laid up with a broken leg right now), and because it had been so long since it's been dyed, I'm currently experiencing my natural color for the first time in almost 14 years.
