I will be taking a vacation with a good friend in San Francisco first, though. Some unloading/sleeping time at his house. That will be helpful. I need to Detox before I go to my daughter. Not from drugs, luv. From a strange three-year encounter with a very odd person that I could never figure out.
Try the old fashioned BART diet for the day - Bananas, Applesauce, Rice and tea {no, silly, not SweetTea!} That might help. Then, of course you will be constipated. Oh yes, the joys of touching the loo handle and picking up E-coli {or somesuch nasty!}
I don't know when/if I will go. My job is really good here and of course the conditions are top notch here in AU. I just miss my daughter so damn much. It is really tough.

Did you know that we get 4 hours paid vacation, even in the first year, here? Everybody. If you only work three days a week, you get your same pay for four weeks. If you do shift work, even if it is the same shift each week, you get an automatic five week paid vacation.
The conditions are fantastic. Even the Dumpster Diving is great {Although I haven't been doing much lately because of my back.} I will post a photo or two in a few days of what I have gotten in the past month, soon, though.
I really love it here...well, except for the fact that it is 10K miles away from my kid and her fiance.....
*Everywhere* other than the U.S. has better sick/vacation policies than we do. I'm a gov employee, so mine's not bad though. I started with 2.5 weeks of vacation and I'm currently at 3, but it will be going up to 4 here in a few weeks.
