Here's irony for you: Seattle is the driest place in the US right now. We are on Day 29 with no rain at the recording station (SeaTac airport). It's cloudy today, and it *feels* like it's going to rain, but nothing is making it the ground. If we make it to tomorrow, it'll be a new record for us ( Read more... )

You are an adorable invisible goof!

I have not been able to catch Deadliest Catch (er, sorry about the pun) much this season! They don't rerun it when I'm watching and I fall asleep on the re-air and I can't catch it when it first shows and...

I want to see what happened after teh wave dangit! And I missed Norwegian speak?! Eeek!

:D *bows*

Oh noes, you have to record or something! The DRAMA is really high this season! So much man-pain! I will tell you what happened after The Wave if you want...

Sig speaking Norwegian was during the King season - he was radio fishing and called his Norwegian buddies (relatives?) to discuss hot fishing spots. It was awesome.

Sig spoke Norwegian recently? Obviously I'll have to get the latest ep from On Demand and watch it. I missed it.

It was a couple episodes back - maybe 3 or 4? I think they were still fishing for King crab. He was having a hard time finding crab so he radioed his Norwegian buddies. Hee, it was so cool! Like they were talking in code! :D I don't think Edgar was too happy about him "radio fishing" though.

Edgar is, like, the coolest fisherman on that show EVER. He's so marvelously wry.

He totally is! I need icons, man. Edgar pwns icons.

Some day I'm gonna have to just hang out at the fisherman's terminal and see if I can find the Northwestern. I think they do DC tours! :p

I so nearly snorted hot chocolate out of my nose just now. For serious. :D Awesome dream! So, was his real house less brown?

Oh dear, hot chocolate up the nose! I'm sorry! :D

Yes, it was *far* less brown - much more modern with lots of windows. My brain... she is a strange thing.

Hilarious dream. But "lots of windows"--don't you think he has about a million in that house already? Of course most of them are french doors so he can literally just walk right outside.

I love the idea that his is his "decoy" house--but shouldn't that have been to fool his ex-girlfriendS? After all, he's had a great many of those, too.

I hope you are using your powers of invisibility for good and not evil...

I stayed up so late the other night watching those DC eps I thought my eyes were going to fall out. And how is Phil down to smokeing 2 packs a day instead of 6 a GOOD thing!? Dude!.

I guess this means you are a practical pirate, Zip?
Arrgh. Let me send you the specs on the North American Land Yacht for the next book. She be a good solid ship with plenty o'room for the rocket launcher.(I find my job in your dream absolutely hilarious being that I'm the absolute furthest from any sizeable body of water out of all of us)

Mostly good. A girl's gotta have a little fun! ;)

I know, I keep talking to Phil through my TV - "Stop smoking! Don't yell at the boys! Be zen, Phil, ZEN!" At least the Cornelia Marie is having a decent Opie season, but the teaser for next week's episode, eeeeeep!

The whole dream = silly, but yes, your job was pretty hilarious! My mom thought you were great though; I think she must have been our editor or publisher. Pirates!

But the real question here is: did RDA look like that scary manip in Architectural Digest, or like actual RDA? Inquiring minds.

I've been invisible too! In my case it usually manifests in people sitting on top of me on the subway.

Ack, people have sat on you!? Not cool. I don't like this invisible thing so much, N.
