Back from the "First Annual Christmas In February Girls Weekend," with my RL girlfriends. We went to Whidbey Island, WA, and rented a house just steps away from the beach. The weather was perfect, and so was the company! We ate, drank, and laughed our way through three days, and managed not to pick up any Navy men. ;) It was fabulous! *squeezes my girls*
WA beaches are almost all rocky, and this one was no exception. We found lots of good beach glass though, which I collect.
I like the really worn and frosted glass.
No purple glass this time, but I did get some nice turquoise pieces.
Agates! The big one in the center is especially pretty - very unusual markings. They are, of course, much prettier when held up to the light.
I took my quilling stuff along, and made everyone try it. Here's my creations: stacked hearts, a "distelfink" bird, turtle, strawberry, jellyfish, and bleeding hearts.
