Oh... how to explain. It's a LJ community where people nominate fandoms/characters and then a "tournament" is created, ala NCAA Basketball March Madness. The comm owners set up the brackets (usually by genre, like "SciFi or Teen) and the matches are LJ polls (prelim round, Sweet Sixteen, etc). So basically you just vote for the character you want to win. But the real fun part is the campaigning that goes on in the comments. Pages and pages of gifs and taunting and character love. So it's a fun way to share your love of characters/fandoms with other fans. :)
