Oh my gosh. I was really scared to watch the video, I was really anxious waiting for it to load.

My bf told me about this earlier today and I almost didn't believe him. Just seeing that video makes me want to cry, I can't get the puppy's little helpless yelps out of my head. I am totally against animal cruelty, and even though PETA can sometimes blow things way out of proportion I agree on their take. I'm going to sign that petition. I want those men to be discharged from the corps and put to justice.

Yeah, I was nervous too about seeing it.

I have seen a lot of footage of meat plants and such, which can get pretty gory. But in some ways, this is worse to watch, because this is not even part of their jobs. They are doing it for fun. Sick bastards.

Thank you for signing the petition. Every little bit helps to bring these people to justice.

Yes, I've seen many of those videos of meat plants too. Plus, my bio professor was really crazy about animal rights so she showed us a lot of those videos too.

Yeah, seeing that kind of stuff is what made me decide to abstain from meat. That kinda footage can really get to me, but at the same time, I have been watching it for eight or more years, so in a weird way I am used to it, even though it still upsets me. I think I can just handle the gore better. I remember watching Fast Food Nation with Rhoddy, and it really freaking him out at the end, and I had seen that stuff so many times. Arg. I wish we didn't have to use animals like that.

That shit makes me fucking furious and sick to my stomach. These people need to be disowned by the human race :P

Yes, wouldn't it be wonderful to literally disown people like this. Just drop them in some uninhabited part of the world, to fend for themselves.

I slightly disagree, They should not just be released someplace where they might survive. They should face the same treatment they inflicted on their victim. For example that soldier should also be tossed off the very same cliff and discarded in the same nonchalant way.In our society that type of punishment is not allowed. Therefore; that soldier should face a court marshal for what he has done, as well as Being forbidden to ever own animals again.

Yeah, I wish it were an eye for an eye sometimes. Just like the Romans. Justice in my mind would be him being tossed off a cliff as well.

But you are right, our society would never do that. If makes me sad that we do not value animals more. Hopefully he faces a Court Marshall, is discharged, and never touches another animal.

That makes my soul hurt, and I feel like I'm going to vomit right now. It completely blows my mind that any human being can be so cruel and heartless. I personally have a lex talionis (eye for an eye) view on animal cruelty cases. You throw a puppy off a cliff - you need to be thrown off a bigger cliff (proportional to your height). You run a puppy mill - you should be locked in a 4x4 foot wire cage with no clean water, in your own excrement. You beat, stab, and set animals on fire - you should be beaten, stabbed, and set on fire. It just infuriates me! And it's completely embarrassing to know that these people are serving our country. What a bunch of assholes. I hope they die...painfully.

Yes, you and I feel the same way then about the way we would like to see this person punished for this crime. It really gets me, that this guy probably won't end up behind bars, and will give some lame ass apology on the news.

I also thought about how made this makes America look, if other countries see our soldiers doing this kinda crap, we will be viewed as merciless pricks.
