So these two movies I like, Curse of the Golden Flower and The Night Banquet (released in the US on DVD by Dragon Dynasty as Legend of the Black Scorpion), are kind of like weird fraternal twin siblings.

Considering how she's newly single, you've never had a better chance! On the other hand, under all the rules of civilized society, Chow Yun-fat has dibs. On the other other hand, it's possible that he would consent to a massive running gunbattle through the streets of Hong Kong to settle the issue.

Zhang Ziyi is apparently newly single also. We can double-date!

We will trade witty anecdotes about our respective occupations. How often has a Chinese movie star dealt with a live puma in a luggage bin? Not very often I'd expect! :D

Okay, here's one I really *want* to see, but don't yet have:
'Painted Skin', the 2008 remake of the King-Hu classic (I have the old film),
starring Donnie Yen, Vicky Zhao Wei, and Zhou Xun.

It's the winner of Best Theme Song of the Hong Kong Film Awards for 2008,
sung by Jane Zhang.

That looks pretty good! :) I'll definitely keep an eye out for it if Dragon Dynasty decides to pick it up.
