Kissing In A Tree 5.1

Can't wait for watching House. Lost is iffy.

Like supernatural V.v. much. If only they were ADOPTED brothers, cause I see slash all over the windshield there!

Wally waited in his chair while his parents worked out the last of the paperwork before he could go to his very first class. It was very boring, so he worked on his coloring book that had cars he made all different colors. He really liked red though. Even if he was fast, cars were still very cool and girls wouldn’t want to be piggy backed everywhere.

“Now just wait here while I fill these out, Chloe honey.” A blonde man entered with his equally blonde daughter.

“‘Kay. I’ve got plenty of editing to do.”

The girl was very pretty.

She went to sit down.

And Wally accidently drew green all over his red sports car because she had decided to sit down right next to him.

“Hi.” He blurted.

No answer.

“I’m Wally.”

“I’m busy. Make an ‘pointment.”

She flipped out her notepad and was scribbling lots of words. Her ocean blue eyes were pretty but sharp as the girl squinted very hard in concentration of all that she was writing down. Whatever it was must be very important. She’d write a few sentences and tap her pencil. Then chew a moment on her pinky.

It was quite possibly the most fascinating thing he had ever seen.

Wally tried to peak over her shoulder to read. Some of the words he couldn’t even read, they were way too big in his opinion to even be words.

“Do you mind? I’m working.” She frowned at him.

“We’re not even in class yet. Why would you wanna do that?”

“‘Cause I’m the Spark editor. I’m doing stories for the newspaper.” She made several more jots.

That did sound like a lot of fun. Except for the working part.

“What kinda stories?”

“I gotta work now. Read the first edition to find out.”

“I don’t wanna wait!” Wally leaned in even closer until his cheek brushed hers.

“Unless you have a story get away. I don’t want boy germs.” She jerked away.

“I took a bath on Wednesday.” He assured her.

“That’s week ago!” Chloe waved a hand over her nose.

“I used soap. What if I got a story?” His mind raced.

Her head was trained on him, all her attention.

Wally appreciated it but his thinking went out the window and to the moon like a rocket.

His big secret would really score some points, but he wasn’t ready to tell.

Even if her pretty eyes made him want to blab all his secrets.

“We’ll see.” She smiled.

What is the other coolest thing I know?

“I can make fart sounds using my armpit.”

Her face twisted in revulsion.

“Stay away from me, Icky-bod!”

Wally slumped as she got out of her chair and started for the far side of the room.

He used a little speed to catch up to her.

“What if I help?”

“You're really fast. Help?” She echoed.

“Yeah. I’ll help you find stories. And I’m really good at running people over.” He promised as backup.

“Just run them down. I’ll do the rest.” She smiled.

Wally decided bouncing off the walls was a bad idea even if he could really do it now.

“Partners?” He held out his hand.

She stared at him nervously and her eyebrows furrowed.

“You don’t eat boogers?”

“No!”

“Or paste?”

“No!”

She shook his hand.

“Okay, I can work with this.”

Wally decided to wait on telling her about his ant farm.
