I am not a mod at this site but I just wanted to make sure that everyone on the community, (not just the mods) are aware of the following facts

The first and most important being that posting CANNOT begin on the 23rd. The mods need to post a posting schedule which they have not as yet done and it must be done at least one week in advance of the ( Read more... )

I totally sympathize with our mod because I know she's going through a lot of family stuff right now, so I can't blame her for not putting something like a fanfiction event at the top of her priorities. And overall I'm still having fun - or at least, I'd be having a lot more fun if I could find the time to finish my fic, haha! So I may be a little biased when I say the delay isn't causing any problems for me. As long as things eventually get sorted out, I'll be happy! And being notified of any changes to the dates would be great, just so I know if/when I'm totally screwed for this challenge. :'D

I am aware of the fact that the mod has family issues or something real life important that is keeping her from posting. This post isn't here to shame her. It's for all the authors and artists who are sweating bullets over a 23rd of March deadline that isn't going to happen ( ... )

No worries! I completely agree with you on every point. :) I just didn't want the mod to think we're all gathering pitch forks and getting ready to burn her at the stake or something like that, haha! Real life happens and sometimes there's nothing that can be done - but that being said, this Big Bang does need to be organized and get back on track.

No problem I'm just trying to prevent the gathering of pitchforks (or stress) over an assumed deadline since it wont be occurring.

I was wondering, so I'm glad to have some more information! I'm honestly a little relieved for the likelihood of an extension. My artist was sweating bullets due to hell week at school, so allowing her to have even more time than we were anticipating is excellent. I'm excited to post, but I'm content to wait, now that I've got a better idea of what's going on!

I hate one a big bang is just abandoned no fair for the participants.
This was such an amazing idea. I hope somebody will sort it out!
